This page includes full information regarding my commissions. Read below for the basic stuff, including current prices. Current Specialities
This is just a shorthand graphic showing the styles I'm currently specialising in. I'm happy to take commissions outside of these such as; lineart only, fully body toon and half and full body art that is more anatomically correct. I can also do additional characters for these, so just ask!

Additional information;
- Particularly simple characteters (limited colour palette or easy to draw) may get a reduced price
- The 6 limb limit includes wings. Depending on the commission type, totally happy to do extra limbs for a higher fee
- Multi-buy price is included for pixel art icons, but I may be able to offer multi-buy discounts for other styles if commissions are purchased together. I will not offer a reduced cost to repeat customers unless under special circumstances.

Backgrounds
Most of my character work will include basic backgrounds such as;
You can also, of course, request a single colour or white background.
I am capable of creating some more complicated backgrounds/scenes, (such as the images here), but these will come with an additional cost depending on the complexity. |

Alternative Colouring Styles
Alongside the basic colouring styles provided in my main references above, I have a few others that I enjoy creating and can do on request.
'Lineart' Alternative Styles
When charging for lineart only pieces, I can also include the sketch image in the background, and/or a simple cross-hatch style shading for no additional price. These can be any colour or shade you like, but by default I sketch in orange/purple and then black/grey, and use solid black lines for the finished work.
'Basic Colour' Alternative Styles
There are two other styles I enjoy colouring in. One is the style I use for my Qin Terra comic, and the other a style using a gradient background. Although not being full colour, these will both be charged at basic colour price as they take as much time to do. The colour for the gradient style can be whatever you choose, and the comic style can be tinged a colour hue as well. These styles look best without a background, but one can be done if you want.

'Full Colour' Alternative Styles
When I produce full colour images, I often use a style I refer to as 'deep shade', where dramatic lighting is used to bring the piece to life. These are particularly time-consuming but give my favourite results. Themes for these images tend to be dark backgrounds with luminous effects. Currently, I'm not charging more than the full-colour style for this as I'm really happy with how they look, however, in exchange I would exercise artistic freedom when it comes to colour choices as some character palettes will need to be altered, or will not appear as you might expect due to overlays.

Reference Sheets For CharactersReference shees include 2 sides (usually front/back or left/right) of character, colour pallette, applicable information such as name, pronouns, flags, colous and additional text if neccesary. Elements that aren't shown in images such as paw pads, inside mouth etc that are relevant to the character will also be drawn.
Price negotiable If a character is particularly complicated, or uses more than 12 colours, I will need to charge more. I'd discuss this with you beforehand. Reference images include;

*Little rant here: As an artist trying to draw from fully shaded references is so frustrating. I see other artists all the time offering references where the page is so cluttered it's impossible to see what's going on. Reference images are best using no shade, and only a simple background!!
Art Rights and Permissions
Commission sales are purchases of artwork from an artist. The final piece then belongs to you and you are allowed to do most things you want with it, such as printing out, displaying on social media, or showing to others. However, you may not use purchased commissions for commercial purposes, which includes non-profit public projects such as independent games/webcomics and memes.
I would appreciate, if you share artwork that I have done, that you include my artist tag "Gnotknormal" and where reasonable, link to relevant social media or my website. It means a lot to artists like myself that our work is appreciated with our names so we can keep sharing our work with new people.

Further information;
- Payment is through PayPal. 50% of the charge will be due before I can start work. Please do not send me any money until the cost has been discussed.
- Some minor edit is allowed after final piece is sent out (within the first month of sending).
- No further edits will be done after this, though if you want a base colour image to then be fully coloured you can pay to have this done.
- Images with backgrounds can be sent with and without it at no extra charge.
- You may not take credit for my work. Please be respectful of the hard work artists put in.
- References images are needed for both original characters and fan work. Please don't presume that I know the characters that you're referring to.
- Where insufficient images are provided and artwork does not reflect the character as you intended, there will not be a refund.
- I cannot replicate styles of someone else's work, I draw in my own style.
- Purchases of fan art including my characters DOES NOT encompass a purchase of that character. My characters remain my own.
- I reserve the right to withdraw from working on your piece at any time, in this instance I will issue a refund.
- I also reserve the right to not explain myself should I withdraw a commission, but I would usually tell you.
- Prices are subject to change at any time.
You can contact me through any of my social media accounts to discuss a commission.
